LAB 1.4 (Management User, Management Service, Identity) MikroTik at Router Board

I post this time will share how to do Management User, Management Service, and Identity MikroTik at RouterBoard


Purpose
  • Learning to know how to do Management User MikroTiik at RouterBoard
  • Learning to know how to do Management Service MikroTik at RouterBoard
  • Learning to know how to do Identity at RouterBoard
Materials
  • RouterBoard
  • Laptop or PC
  • Cable UTP
  • Power cable RouterBoard
Steps

1.  Click Network and Sharing Center to Open Network and Sharing Center

2.  Click change adapter settings

3. Right Click at VirtualBox Host-Only, next click Disable, and  Wi-Fi is also Disable

4. Open WinBox click symbol "...", then click Mac Address, next write user login "admin", and click connect

5.  Click System, then click Reset Configuration to be able Default Configuration

6. Open Network and Sharing center, to check IP Address Ethernet

7. Right-click at Ethernet Adapter, then click Properties

8.  Click IP Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Properties to show IP Address Client, and Edit IP Address appropriate with RouterBoard, after that click OK

9. Open WinBox, click symbol "...", then click IP Address to connect with IP Address

10. Click System, then click Identity to show Note Identity, and then Edit Note Identity to change Note in WinBox, if you have finish click apply and OK, Example like the picture below

11. Click System, next click User to show User List, and then Click Symbol "+" to create New User, if you have finish click apply and ok

12.  Double-click at user admin, then replace IP Address WinBox with IP Address Client which appropriate in Router Board, if you have finish click Apply and Ok

13. Connect with IP Address, Login with New username which already created, then click Connect

14. This is the display using Username Ferdinan, Example like the picture below

15. Open WinBox again, and Login with Username admin, then click Connect

16. This is the display using Username admin, example like the picture below

17. Next click System, click Services to Open IP Service List, and then Double-click telnet, change with port 8080, if you have finish click Apply and Ok

18. Open Control Panel, click Programs and Features, then Click Turn Windows features on or off, click checkbox Telnet client to active Telnet Client, if you have finish click Ok

19. Open Command Prompt, Write the command to Open Telnet in Command Prompt

20. Login with Username admin in Telnet Command Prompt

21. This is the display using Username admin at Command Prompt, Example like the picture below

22. Open Command Prompt again, write the command to Open Telnet in Command Prompt

23. Login with Username Ferdinan in Telnet Command Prompt

24. This is the display using Username Ferdinan at Command Prompt, Example like the picture below 

25. Click System, click Services to Open IP Service List, and then Double-click winbox, change with port 8291, if you have finish click Apply and Ok

26.Open WinBox, and Login with Username admin, then click Connect 

27. This is the display using Username admin, example like the picture below 

28. Open WinBox again, connect with IP Address, Login with Username Ferdinan, then click Connect 

29. This is the display using Username Ferdinan, Example like the picture below
