LAB 1.3 Upgrade, Downgrade, Netinstall, Add Packages in Router Board

I post this time will share how to upgrade, downgrade, NetInstall, Add packages, etc. in Router Board


Purpose
     - Learning to know how to Upgrade and Downgrade version in Router Board
     - Learning to know how to add a package in RouterBoard

Materials
     - Router Board
     - Power Cable Router Board
     - Cable UTP
     - Laptop or PC

Steps
1. Open Start, then click Control Panel

2. After that, click Network and Internet

 3. Click Network and Sharing Center

 4. Click Change adapter settings

5. Right-click at VirtualBox Host-Only Network, and click Disable

6. Right-click at Local Area Connection and click Properties

7. Click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties

8. Setting IP address at IP version 4

9. Open Winbox-2.2.18.exe 

10. Click symbol "..." and click Mac Addres

11. Click connect to run

12. Click System and Click License

13. View License if you finish click Ok

14. Click System and Click Resources

 15. View Resources if you finish click Ok

16. Click System and then click Reset Configuration

17. Click Reset Configuration to Default Configuration

18. Click Yes to Reboot or Restart

19. Open winbox click symbol "..." and click Mac Address

20. Click Connect to run

21. Click System and Click Packages

22. Click ipv6 and then click Enable

23. Click System and click Reboot

24. Click Yes to Reboot the router now

25. Open winbox and click Mac Address

26. Click Connect to run 

27. Click System and click packages

28. Click ipv6 and then click Disable

29. Click Yes to reboot the router now

30. Open Winbox, click symbol "..." and click Mac Address

31. Click Connect to run

32. Click Files at Winbox

33. Copy "user-manager 5.26 mipsbe.npk"

34. Click Paste in File List, like the picture below

35. Click System and Click Reboot

36. Click Yes to reboot the router now

37. Open Winbox and click symbol "..." click Mac Address

38. Click Connect to run

39. Click System and click Packages

40. Copy "routeros-mipsbe-6.25.npk"

41. Click Paste in File List, like the picture below

42. Click System and click Reboot

43. Click Yes to reboot the router now

44. Open Winbox, click symbol "..." and click IP Address

45. Click Connect to run


46. Click Files at Winbox

 47. Copy or Drag "routeros-mipsbe-5.26.npk" to winbox

48. Click System and Click Packages

49. Click Downgrade and click yes to reboot now

50. Open winbox, click symbol "..." and click IP Address

51. Click connect to run

52. Click System, and click Routerboard

53. Click Settings at Routerboard

54. Change Boot Devices to Try-ethernet, click Apply and click Ok

55. Open Netinstall.exe

56. Check Windows Firewall, set into Not Connected

57. Click Net Booting, click Boot server and input client IP address, click OK

58. Click Browse and click File which contains routeros 5.26.npk and routeros 6.25.npk and click Ok

59. Click System, and Click Reboot, Click Yes to reboot now

60. Click RB951G and click Browse, Click File version npk and click OK

61. Click checkbox mipsbe 6.25 and click Install

62. Open Winbox and click symbol "..." click Mac Address and click connect

63. Experiments have been finished
